Getting Started

ATTENTION! Before replacing your iPhone 6/6s battery, discharge the battery below 5%. A charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire or might explode if misused or punctured.



1. Turning off your iPhone 6/6s

- Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the slider appears.

- Drag the slider to turn your iPhone 6/6s completely off.

2. Removing the bottom screws

- Use a Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two screws located at the bottom of your iPhone 6/6s.

3. Separating the screen

- Use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to separate the screen from its structure.

4. Removing the screen connector

- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the screen connector bracket.

- Remove the bracket.

- Use a plastic opening tool to detach the screen connector.

- Remove the screen.

5. Removing the vibrator

- Remove the two Phillips screws from the vibrator bracket.

- Remove the vibrator.

6. Removing the battery adhesive strips

- Use a triangle opening tool to separate the two black end adhesive strips from the bottom of the battery.

- Remove the two adhesive strips by pulling them all the way back toward the bottom of your iPhone 6/6s.

7. Removing the battery connector

- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the battery connector bracket.

- Remove the bracket.

- Use a plastic opening tool to detach the battery connector.

- Remove the battery.

8. Attaching adhesive strips to the new battery

- Remove the blue protective film from the new adhesive strips.

- Attach the adhesive strips to the back of the new battery but make sure that the black end tabs overlap the bottom of the battery.

9. Installing the new battery

- Place the new battery inside your iPhone 6/6s.

- Remove the two small blue protective films from the black end tabs of the new adhesive strips.

- Stick the two black end tabs to the bottom edge of the battery.
